Start a Servants University-Approved Bible College or Study Center

You’re Just a Few Steps Away from Launching a Ministry Training Hub in Your Community

Thank you for your desire to raise up gospel-centered leaders and multiply disciples through biblical education. This page explains what it means to become a Servants Study Center (affiliated with Servants University) and how to get started.

We’re here to empower your church or ministry to start a Bible College using our curriculum, guidance, and community support, while giving you the freedom to contextualize and lead it locally.

What Is a Servants Study Center?

A Servants Study Center is a local training initiative established by a church, Bible college, mission agency, Christian nonprofit organization, or Christian leader, utilizing our curriculum and operating under our spiritual and academic umbrella. You choose the name (e.g., “Hope Church Bible Institute”), the location, the teachers, and the structure that best fit your community. We provide the curriculum and course materials —you run the college. It’s your college.

There are two different approaches to leading a Servants Study Center or College. The first option is the free option. With the free option, you teach the content without collecting any fees from students at all. With the free option, you don’t need to register a ministry with permission to run a Bible college in your country to do this. The second option is the fee option, allowing you to charge reasonable fees from students. This second option requires that you be registered as a ministry that can teach Bible courses in your country.

Program Highlights

  • Teach in Your Space: Classes can be held face-to-face in homes, churches, offices, or classrooms.
  • Flexible Instructors: Courses can be taught by pastors, elders, teachers, or trained lay leaders.
  • Go at Your Own Pace: Teach the courses according to your own calendar and student needs.
  • Use Our Curriculum: Download free lessons from our learning platform. You control the teaching order. You may use the exams that come with it or create your own.
  • Name your college: You can name the study center whatever you prefer, such as “ABC Church Bible College.” It’s your Bible college to name as you see fit.
  • Set Reasonable Fees: You may charge affordable fees to sustain your local program. Servants University does not require a share of that.
  • Create Your Own Assessments: Evaluate students in ways that work best for your context, based on course learning outcomes.
  • Issue Globally Recognized Certificates: Graduates receive official digital diplomas and transcripts from Servants University.

***Note, we do not provide salaries or help you get buildings for your school. It’s your Bible school and you are the founder. You need to get other teachers to join you. You charge reasonable fees from your students and use that to pay teacher salaries, rents, etc.

Requirements to Start

To apply, your church or organization must:

  • Be a Christian or Christian ministry with a solid testimony and gospel commitment.
  • Be legally registered (or operating within legal limits) in your country.
  • Have a suitable location for Bible study gatherings.
  • Have a ratio of at least one teacher for every five courses in the program you want to offer. That means if you offer a short certificate that has five or less courses, you can be the only teacher for your school. However, if your certificate has more than six or more courses, you need other teachers. Teachers must hold a higher degree or commensurate experience higher than the level they will teach.
  • Submit all required documents (see below).
  • Pay a one-time registration fee of $25.

Documents You’ll Need to Submit

Please have these ready when applying:

  • Recommendation letter or certificate of good standing
  • Copies of Legal registration documents or personal ID/residence permit
  • Full address and information for your Bible College location
  • CVs and IDs/passports of qualified instructors–at least one for every five courses in the program you plan to run.
  • Payment of the $25 setup fee

Note: Servants University may request additional information as needed on a case-by-case basis.

What Happens After You Apply

  1. Join the Bible College Leaders’ Community. Once you apply to launch an Affiliated Study Center, you’ll be automatically added to our Bible College Leaders’ Community—a space where Bible College Deans and leaders connect, share best practices, and receive ongoing updates and guidance. Be sure to use the email address you want linked to this community when you apply.
  2. Complete Your Bible College Profile. Shortly after applying, you’ll receive an automated message with a link to complete your Bible College details and further instructions on submitting any required documents for our records.
  3. Connect with a Program Coordinator. After your form is submitted, one of our Program Coordinators will contact you as we begin processing your official Center Authorization Certificate. For urgent needs or to join our Partner WhatsApp group, use the contact email provided in your welcome message.
  4. Begin Enrolling Students. Once approved, you can start enrolling students at your center. Be sure to thoroughly review the Servants University Program Prospectus for important information on available programs, admissions criteria, and course structures.
  5. Download the Curriculum. Our lessons (curriculum) are available for free on our Servants University Learning Platform. Simply type the exact course title into the search box, download the materials, and teach them in any order you prefer—though we recommend following the sequence outlined in the Prospectus for best results.
  6. Design and Administer Exams. When students are ready for exams, your local teacher will create assessments that align with the course learning outcomes. We suggest conducting exams on-site at your center, allowing your team to supervise and assist. Servants University encourages a variety of assessment types: multiple-choice, essays, open-ended questions, projects, and more.
  7. Maintain Accurate Records. It’s essential that you keep thorough records of student admissions and academic performance, following Servants University guidelines. We strongly recommend assigning someone—such as a secretary—to manage this data. We’ll periodically offer support and review these records to ensure quality standards and compliance are upheld.
  8. Graduation Process. Students who meet graduation requirements will be eligible for the next available graduation date. Send the full list of graduates, their grades (using the forms we provide), and admission documentation to: registrar@servantsuniversity.com. Graduation costs $25 per student, per program. All graduates will receive digital diplomas. For hardcopy documents, additional shipping fees apply. Physical diplomas and transcripts will be mailed to your study center’s office for local distribution.

Important Notes

  • You are responsible for your own facilities, salaries, and local operations.
  • We do not offer ordination or pastoral covering—this remains under your church or ministry.
  • You are encouraged to appoint a secretary to help maintain academic records for your students.
